castor oil for hair growth

Does castor oil grow hair quickly?

Is it true that castor oil makes hair grow quickly or is it a popular belief passed down from generation to generation without a real base?

Well, it seems that our grandmothers were right to use castor oil on hair to reinvigorate it and accelerate hair growth. Its affinities with keratin, in fact, make it a true ally of beauty not only for the hair, but also for the eyelashes and eyebrows.

The use of castor oil in hair care is quite old. This oil contains 16 fatty acids. Regular use of adhesive castor oil will solve almost all types of hair problems. Castor oil promotes hair growth as well as stopping hair fall. It even helps new hair to grow. Learn about some hair packs from Castor Oil.

Hair benefits

Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the ricinus communis plant. It is characterized by a high content of ricinoleic acid, which gives it exceptional properties.
Castor oil has been used since ancient times in hair care. The reason is simple: its composition has an excellent affinity with keratin, a protein present in abundance in hair, hair and nails. By penetrating the hair, castor oil does a real restructuring job, making it more full-bodied, radiant and promoting faster growth.

Ideal for fine and dry hair, which tends to develop split ends, it can also be used successfully by those suffering from seasonal fall, alopecia, hair loss and broken hair. Its richness in fatty acids and natural antioxidants makes it perfect for rebalancing the PH of the scalp and improving the blood circulation of the entire area.

Does castor oil grow hair?

Yes, if used in this way

Castor oil causes hair to grow rapidly, provided it is used correctly. Occasionally it is not enough to apply a few drops, but it is necessary to proceed to a deeper treatment by applying compresses to keep the hair long.

Homemade compress to grow hair based on pure castor oil

Castor oil has a very viscous consistency and a rather subtle smell: two characteristics that make it ideal for dry hair.
  • Just buy a bottle of castor oil,
  • Apply the product along its entire length and wrap your hair in a cloth.
  • The exposure time for each compress (to be repeated 2 times a week if the hair is very fragile, only once if the purpose is only to lengthen it) is about half an hour.

Castor oil and olive oil

  • Mix castor oil with olive oil rich in fatty acids and antioxidants.
  •  Massage at the base of the hair with a little warmth.
  •  After 10 to 15 minutes, cover your hair with a warm towel.
  • After 1 hour, wash your hair with herbal shampoo.
  •  Using it once a week will stop hair loss.
  •  Hair growth will increase as well.

Castor oil and coconut oil

  • Mix equal amount of castor oil and coconut oil and massage from head to toe.
  •  Cover hair with shower cap.
  • After two hours, wash with shampoo.
  • If you leave it overnight, you will get better results.
  •  If used twice a week, new hair will grow.

Castor oil and aloe Vera

TO GET RID OF DANDRUFF

  • Mix castor oil with enzyme rich aloe Vera.
  • Mix half a cup of aloe Vera gel with 2 teaspoons of castor oil.
  •  Mix 1 teaspoon of basil leaf powder and 1 teaspoon of fenugreek and blend well.
  • Apply the paste on the hair roots and cover the hair with a shower cap.
  •  Leave it for two to three hours and wash it off with herbal shampoo.
  • It will eliminate dandruff as well as make the hair shiny.

Castor oil and onion juice

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of onion juice with 2 tablespoons of castor oil.
  • Leave the mixture on the hair for half an hour and wash it off with shampoo.
  • Hair growth will increase.
  • Hair fall will stop as well.

Garlic and castor oil

  • Soak 3 tablespoons of clove garlic in 3 tablespoons of castor oil for 4 days.
  • Rub the oil on the roots of the hair.
  • Wash off with shampoo after two hours.
  •  Hair will grow faster if used every week.
